Decreto-Lei n.º 365, de 15 de Maio de 1976, que transferiu a gestão dos albergues distritais de mendicidade para o Ministério dos Assuntos Sociais, integrando-os no Instituto da Família e Ação Social, determinando a criação de comissões liquidatárias no sentido de uma reconversão dos referidos estabelecimentos.
